Across multiple beaches for every possible flight or hotel is an ambitious task for a search engine. In the interest of providing you with speedy results, we limit the multi-beach search to five.

There are two reasons for this:

It takes us some effort to add a new beach destination. We have to verify the location of every hotel, find the exact location of every beach, and research what characteristics make the beach special. That being said, this is just the beginning of our mission to bring you the best vacation possible. We are in the process of adding more destinations every day. If you think that your favorite beach deserves to be moved to the top of the list you should send us an email at feedback@Suntrax.com. We would love to have your request and would be happy to look into the process of adding your beach.

We combined the some of the most popular and most trusted lists on the internet. We only categorized a beach under a filter if we felt that absolutely all the lists we looked at would validate that choice.

We want you to be able to take advantage of the fact that SunTrax let’s you search more the one destination at a time. If you didn’t choose five beaches, sometimes we will give you suggestions based on the beaches you have already chosen. We try to choose other beaches that share similar characteristics to those you want to explore, hoping that you may want to add them to your search. Of course, if you are not interested in our suggestions, feel free to decline the search- we just thought adding extra beaches for you to compare might help you find the best possible deal.

The numbers on the matrix represent the base (least expensive) price for hotels at various distances form the beach. We want you to be able to quickly see how much it would cost you to stay at a hotel that is Beach Front, a Short Walk from the beach, a Long Walk from the beach, and Driving Distance from the beach. This way, you can quickly spot a good deal, or figure out what type of hotel is in your budget. You can also use the matrix to sort, organize, and filter the trips below it. The goal is that the matrix will save you valuable time and help you find your ideal trip more quickly.

We researched the average time from the airport to your beach. Then, we added 35 minutes to the transportation time to account for the time it takes to gather your bags, leave the airport, and be on your way.

In this case, "optimizing your trip" means having the most possible time on the beach. We found flights that allow you to get extra time at the beach- whether it is on your arrival day, on your departure day, or on both days. We include the price of the preferred flight in the vacation optimizer so that you can weigh the value of extra time.

It means that the cheapest flight is also the best flight in terms of gaining you valuable time in your destination.

Some destinations have multiple airports in the area. We didn’t want you to have to conduct multiple searches to find out which airport is the cheapest to fly into. Also, we know that the transportation times from various airports to your beach may very. With a live search of flights to each airport in the area, we hoped to give you a side by side comparison – which includes price and transportation times- of various flights.

The prices below each airport give you a dollar range to illustrate price of flights from your departure airport cost over your chosen days. We hope that these prices give you a quick overview so that you can automatically exclude any arrival airports that are unreasonably priced if you choose too.

These are the transportation times to various beaches (not including the time it takes to leave the airport). This should allow you to decide if you want to filter out any beaches or airports based on the length of time that you are willing to spend getting to your hotel.

If you hit the "only" button next to the name of a preferred beach, then it means that you are only seeing hotels that are driving distance, a long walk, a short walk, or directly on that beach. Likewise, if you remove any of the preferred beaches, then you are not seeing hotels in relation to where they are on that beach.

The price on the trip card includes the cost of your round trip flight and the cost of your entire hotel stay. Almost all of the prices include tax and, if they don’t, there will be a * next to the price.

All passengers will need a valid photo ID and your boarding pass. If you are leaving the country, you’ll need a valid passport.
